Wikipedia

I am a big user of Wikipedia. True story.
I use it all the time, and I link to it all the time.

The fact of the matter is that I find I often use the internet like a big encyclopedia. Mostly because I need to look up the myth of Iphis (which is really cool by the way) and who Tavi Gevinson is. Unfortunately the Encyclopedia Britannica does not have Tavi Gevinson in it, nor does it have the incredibly large amount of other pop culture references and internet memes that I want to find information about.

It's very easy to find articles that needed editing on wikipedia. Often I don't think there is enough information, particularly because the things I look up are so obscure. Also I've found racist remarks on wikipedia entries before that obviously needed to be edited out but I've never actually editied articles before! I thought you had to have a login in order to edit and that was just an extra step I prefer not to have to do, but really it was quite easy.

I edited an article on an obscure Roman topic that I happened to have an additional reference to add and I'm glad I did it! It definitely is going to make me want to edit articles whenever they're only a stub and I can add additional info!
